Define Booting?

Everything that happens between the time computer is switched on and it is ready to accept commands from the user is known as booting starting up a computer via the power switch leads the system software into the main memory. Computer automatic start up routine runs when it is switched on. The booting program is normally stored in ROM and is responsible for loading the O/S derived from Bootstraps.
